The Cytogenetics Laboratory Karyotyping for Chromosomal Disorders Chromosomal abnormalities and abnormalities of sexual development occur in our companion animals. Routine and banded karyotyping for dogs and cats are available on a limited basis for animals that are considered to have clinical abnormalities suggestive of chromosomal anomalies.
